Arrange Care: Yorkshire 01924 925 244 | Hampshire 0238 2513 650

At Homecare1st, we take pride in delivering personalised, compassionate care that truly puts people first. As we expand from our strong Hampshire roots into Yorkshire, we’re looking for dedicated, kind-hearted individuals to join our growing team.
Whether you’re based in Wakefield, Leeds, Doncaster, Barnsley, or Hampshire, if you’re passionate about making a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re guided by strong values, and we live them every day. Regardless of your background or experience, you’ll be welcomed, supported, and equipped to thrive.
If you’re new to care, don’t worry, we provide full training and the opportunity to achieve the Care Certificate, an industry-recognised qualification. From day one, you’ll receive paid training and hands-on experience alongside experienced professionals. After 12 weeks, you’ll be supported and assessed by our supervisory team to ensure you feel confident, capable, and ready.
At Homecare1st, this isn’t just a job, it’s a career with purpose, support, and real opportunities to grow.

Great care starts with well-supported carers. We focus on:
Whether you’re new to care or bringing years of experience, you’ll be welcomed, valued, and supported every step of the way.

We like to keep things simple. Fill out a short application and tell us which role you’re interested in.

If your application is successful, our recruitment team will arrange an interview. You’ll meet our team, answer scenario-based questions about care, and have the chance to ask anything you like.

Once you pass the interview, you’ll start the compliance process. This includes paperwork, references, e-learning, and an enhanced DBS check.

Attend in-house sessions covering Moving & Handling, Medication Awareness, and First Aid. All mandatory and accredited to National Level Two, giving you a solid foundation to start your care journey.

Take part in an induction with our admin team to learn about Homecare1st systems, procedures, and day-to-day operations.

You’ll be paired with a senior team member for support. Experienced carers complete a “back to basics” workbook, while new carers continue their Care Certificate with guidance every step of the way.
